Surveillance Training – BTEC Level 3 (7 days)

Argus Europe has been operational in Commercial Surveillance for the last 16 years and continues to be so. Previously the Managing Director and Chief Instructor were operational at the highest levels against high-grade terrorists. The knowledge base within Argus Europe is second to none. Course instructors are experienced in Special Forces operations and use this knowledge to ensure a high quality learning experience.

Our surveillance course is practically based - you will not be sat in a classroom talking about surveillance and then filling out a 'work book' instead you will be out on the ground doing 100's of miles in our specially adapted surveillance vehicles (we do not use rental cars or make you use your own), using fully covert radios, concealed cameras and a host of technical devices.
Accommodation and breakfast is offered to all students on all courses. Course numbers are strictly limited to ensure a high student to instructor ratio.

Surveillance: Videoing & Editing

This course is designed for those that are already surveillance trained; no surveillance training will be given so please ensure that you have attended a course or that you have the necessary experience. The course is 3 days in duration. You will be shown how to use a variety of videoing equipment and will then deploy on surveillance exercises with the aim of capturing footage of the 'subject'. The instructors will advise on how best to capture the footage using various cameras both from a vehicle and using covert cameras whilst on foot. Once the surveillance 'operation' is complete you will be shown various methods of editing with the aim being to produce a final product for your client. This area of surveillance is often underestimated but a quick way to loose a client is to produce sub-standard footage.
